Update your blogs with Wordpress 2.8
If you’re deciding to update your blogs with the new Wordpress 2.8 Baker, stop deciding and do it right now!
Make sure to ‘deactivate’ all plugins and use the ugrade feature built into the Admin area. After upgrading is complete, activate all plugins one by one and view your blog with every plugin activation. Why? The reason for doing this is because you can see if the plugin is compatible with the new update of Wordpress. Another reason is you can manually upgrade every plugin when you see the ‘new update available’ button next to each one.
One of the cool features is the Widgets section. You no longer have to choose your widgets from a drop-down menu. They are all presented in nice fashion along the right side of the screen. Easiest drag and drop interface you’ll ever see.

Enjoy your new toy!
